Police: SUV driver does $5,000 in damage to Topgolf course, threatened staff

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – We’re asking police if they’ve found the person seen driving the SUV back and forth across the course at Topgolf in University City.

Witness Laudyn Provost says this happened this past Saturday around midnight. According to a police report, the person driving the SUV caused $5,000 in property damage and also threatened Topgolf staff.

Topgolf tells us they are grateful that no one was injured. The nets have temporarily been repaired, and the venue is open for normal operations.
