New show “Mom’s the Bride” flips the weddings script

CHARLOTTE, NC — Moms are usually helping plan the wedding, but in a new series on Hallmark+, they’re the ones walking down the aisle.

Hosted by Erin Cahill, Mom’s the Bride follows adult daughters as they help plan the weddings of their mothers. The six-episode limited docuseries features everything from dress fittings and cake tastings to emotional moments leading up to the big day.

Cahill joined Rising to talk about the heartfelt new series and the special mother-daughter bonds viewers will see through this show.

Mom’s the Bride premieres this May exclusively on Hallmark+.
