Sunny skies with refreshing temperatures

Rising temperatures late week

Good Tuesday morning! We’re waking up to a much cooler start across the region after temperatures dropped well down into the 40s overnight in some spots. It’s definitely going to feel a little more refreshing stepping out the door early today.

The good news is we’ll have plenty of sunshine to go along with the cooler air. Afternoon temperatures rebound nicely into the middle 70s, making for a really comfortable day overall with low humidity and dry weather sticking around.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, a quick-moving weather system swings by the region. Most communities east of the mountains will likely stay dry, but a few brief showers and maybe even an isolated rumble of thunder could develop across the mountains during the afternoon and evening. Outside of that, it’s another fairly quiet weather day with temperatures running close to average for this time of year.

By late week, the warmer pattern starts building back in. Sunshine becomes more widespread Thursday into Friday, and temperatures gradually climb above normal again heading toward the weekend. Dry weather looks to stay in place too, so we’re shaping up for a really nice stretch to close out the workweek.
