CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two people died and another was seriously hurt after a car crash in southwest Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
It happened just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night on Westinghouse Boulevard near South Tryon Street.
Two people died at the scene, and another was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, Medic said.
It is unclear what caused the collision at this time.
Westinghouse Boulevard is currently closed at South Tryon Street. Drivers are asked to avoid the area while police investigate.
