CAPTURED: Police nab suspect accused of breaking into local home with a sawed-off shotgun
GASTON CO., N.C. – Police in Gaston County have captured a home invasion suspect. Members of a fugitive task force arrested Michael Wilson in Bessemer City on Tuesday.
Wilson is accused of entering an occupied home in Kings Mountain, armed with a sawed-off shotgun, on Monday morning. Wilson then allegedly threatened and terrorized the home owner before stealing property.
Police say Wilson tried to run when officers approached him, but was quickly taken into custody.
