Manhunt for two escaped inmates from North Carolina detention center

VANCE CO., N.C. – Authorities need your help finding two escaped inmates who are considered armed and dangerous. Michael Miles and Lishawn Knott escaped from the Vance County Detention center around two Wednesday afternoon. That’s near the Virginia state line. Videos shows the two men running down a hallway.

Digital billboards are going up across the state to expand the search. According to the Department of Justice, Miles and Knott knew each other before they were arrested. Officials say both men were being held for multiple state drug trafficking and gun-related charges.

There is a reward of up to $40,000 for information that leads to their arrest.
