Cold front is south of the area this morning. A few lingering showers will be possible for the first few hours of the day, along with patchy fog. Expect cloudy skies and cooler temps this afternoon, with highs struggling to break out of the 70s. Overnight will be mild with lows dipping into the upper 60s. Enjoy the mild weather, because the heat and humidity will be cranking back up tomorrow. Partly sunny skies with just a chance for an afternoon thunderstorm will persist through the rest of the work week. Highs will reach the lower 90s, with overnight lows falling into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Best shot at seeing more scattered storms will return on Saturday.
