CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A diesel fuel spill has shut down one outbound lane on Central Avenue just prior to Eastway Drive in east Charlotte early Wednesday.
Police say 60 gallons of fuel spilled on the roadway and is enough for the EPA to respond to determine if it is a hazard.
Officers are directing traffic and setting up barricades.
Expect some traffic delays.
