CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An overturned, 18-wheeler tractor-trailer transporting watermelons is disrupting traffic on I-485. The incident occurred around 12:00 PM. Now, the truck is blocking the entire NB I-77 ramp, creating heavy traffic delays.

Huntersville FD and Long Creek FD are working together to clear the accident, and have requested a Hazmat truck from Charlotte FD to properly handle the active fuel leak from the tractor-trailer.
