Rock Hill woman charged with attempted murder

ROCK HILL, S.C. – A Rock Hill woman has been charged after shooting incident left a victim with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred at a residence on Crawford Road near Highway 501.

Officers responded to a home after reports of a physical altercation that lead to gunfire. During the altercation, Jasmine Evans fired one shot hitting a 36-year-old victim, who is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Evans, 36 of Rock Hill, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Evans has been denied bond.
