CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A shooting in west Charlotte sent one to the hospital late Monday night.
Police with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department were called around 11:40 p.m. to Effingham Road near Freedom Drive where they located a person suffering with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported by Medic to the hospital.
No word on what led up to the shooting.
The suspect is still on the loose.
