Actor Leon & director Wes Miller present “Wildcards” to CLT audience

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A courtroom drama tackling race, justice and the question of who you believe is coming to Charlotte this weekend. Wildcards, directed by former civil-rights trial lawyer Wes Miller, stars Leon, Elise Neal and Aries Spears and follows the jury deliberations in the trial of a privileged young man accused of sexually assaulting a young Black woman. The film screens Sunday, August 30 at the Mint Museum Uptown, followed by a conversation with the filmmakers and cast.
