CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Armed Robbery Unit hope the public will help them identify the suspect of an armed robbery at a Taco Bell in Steele Creek.
The young man caught on video surveillance allegedly entered the Taco Bell on S. Tryon St. around midnight on Monday, August 6th, according to police. Investigators say he then robbed the business at gunpoint and supposedly fled the scene in a silver SUV after obtaining property from the business.
Witnesses have described the suspect as a black male, approximately 25 years old, 5’7″ in height and weighing around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jeans and shoes.
