CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several roads in the Charlotte area are closed due to the bad weather brought on by Hurricane Florence.
The 3200 block of Shopton Road in South Charlotte is closed in both directions after power lines came down, blocking the roadway. All four lanes are shut down.
North Tryon and 16th Streets are closed due to heavy flooding.
Weddington Avenue at Plantation Center is also closed after trees came down.
