Hurricane Michael is now blamed for 11 deaths throughout the southeast, including five confirmed in Virginia and one in our area- Iredell County.
More than one million customers in seven states don’t have power with over half a million in North Carolina.
Mexico Beach, Florida is pretty much gone. The coastal town took the brunt of Michael’s 155-mph winds when it made landfall Wednesday.
Parts of the Carolinas and Virginia are still dealing with flooding.
