Thousands of Google Employees Walk Off The Job

Thousands of Google Employees walked off the job this week to protest sexual harassment and discrimination scandals that they say the company has not handled well.

A New York Times investigation found that, for years, the company had paid executives accused of harassment millions in severance.

The protests’ organizers want Google to end forced arbitration in harassment cases and create a clear, inclusive process for reporting sexual misconduct safely and anonymously.

Does this represent a new phase in the ‘Me Too’ movement?
