CHARLOTTE, N.C. — From ice to snow…Charlotte could get a half inch of snow Wednesday.Β
WCCB’s Reg Taylor says models are showing the possibility of a 1/4 inch to a 1/2 inch of snow for the Charlotte area between 12-7pm Wednesday. Β
It will be a quick burst of snow that is associated with the next Arctic cold front. Β The mountains could see some snow as well with this system.
Charlotte could also get 30mph wind gusts tomorrow afternoon with extremely cold temperatures. Overnight lows in the single digits and highs in the low to mid 20’s. Β
This cold weather will linger for a couple of days before we warm up after the weekend.Β
