Wilson’s World: Previewing the 2019 Steve Smith Family Foundation Strike Out Domestic Violence Bowling Event
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The 6th Annual Steve Smith Family Foundation Strike Out Domestic Violence Bowling Event will once again be held at 10 Park Lanes on Montford Drive in Charlotte. And as he does every year, Wilson was at 10 Park Lanes to preview the event that will be held on February 23rd. Usually Steve Smith, Sr joins Wilson for some fun, but unfortunately, he was under the weather and couldn’t join Wilson today.
The family friendly bowling event is held each year by the Steve Smith Family Foundation to increase awareness concerning domestic violence. The non-profit Steve Smith Family Foundation was created in 2013 by former NFL wide receiver Steve Smith, Sr. The foundation promotes family health & wellness while bringing awareness and prevention of domestic violence. Besides their work with domestic violence, the foundation also is part of the Smith Family Wellness Center, providing health needs of the disadvantaged.
Bowlers will have a choice of one of two sessions. These sessions have been selling quickly and sell out every year, so be sure to check out the event as soon as possible HERE. If you aren’t able to get a spot, be sure to drop in at 10 Park Lanes on Saturday, February 23rd and support the bowlers.
