CHARLOTTE, NC– On Tuesday, officers responded to Evanshire Drive in reference to a residential breaking and entering call for service.
An observant neighbor called 911 and reported seeing a male standing in the backyard of a neighbor’s house.
While on the phone with 911 the witness stated that the male was now crawling into the residence through a broken window.
North Division officers quickly arrived and established a perimeter around the home.
While at the back of the residence officers observed the suspect stick his head out the rear window.
Officers gave the suspect verbal commands and was taken into custody without incident.
The suspect who was identified as Alando Nesbit, 47, was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Larceny after Breaking and Entering and transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sherriff’s Office.
