CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police issued 45 charges in a DWI checkpoint on Albemarle Road starting Thursday night.
The charges included DWI-9, suspended license-5, no license-7, open container-4, expired inspection-6, expired registration-10, and other traffic violations-4.
The checkpoint was in place from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Officers plan to conduct another checkpoint tonight and will have a mobile breath test on site.
