Four Men Charged After A 24 Year Old Was Shot And Killed In Hidden Valley

 CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Raheem Mosley, Jsa’Quan Evans, Lorenzo Woods and Adrian Manigault have been charged in the death of 24 year old Markee Watson.

Watson died after being shot at the Crossroads at Village Parks Apartments on Hidden Forest Drive around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday. 

After the shooting occur ed, University City Officers spotted what they believed to be the suspect vehicle traveling along N. Tryon Street. 

Eastway Division Officers assisted in back up and set up a felony traffic stop on the 4100 block of the Plaza. The four occupants in the suspect vehicle were positively identified with being involved in the shooting. 

The suspects were then taken to police headquarters and questioned by Homicide/ADW Detectives.

Mobley, 22, was charged with murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and shooting into occupied property. 

Evans, 17, Woods, 22 and Manigault, 16, were charged with accessory after the fact of custody.

The suspects remain in custody at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers received a call that one person was shot in the North Tryon Division. They arrived to find Watson suffering from a gunshot wound, who died at the scene. 

According to detectives, Watson and the known suspects had an altercation Friday evening and the suspects drove to where Watson was staying.

The suspects fled the scene after shooting Watson.

The Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Homicide Prosecution Team, Real Time Crime Center and the Vice and Gang Unit assisted at the scene.
