One Arrested After Setting Fire To A Charlotte Foster Home

Β CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person has been arrested and charged with First Degree Arson after starting a fire at a Foster Home just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday.Β 

26 Firefighters responded to the home of four adults and two children at 8233 Four Sisters Ln. The firefighters were able to get the fire under control within the hour.

The family of 6 escaped without injury and one firefighter was taken to CMC, treated for burns and released.

The fire caused $150,000 of extensive damage.Β

The Volunteer Disaster Action Team of the American Red Cross responded to the house fire and is providing motel housing for the family for a couple of nights. Β
