Β UNION COUNTY, S.C. — Samantha Windham, 17 and student of Porter Ridge High School, was killed on Poplin Road when her 1992 Jeep overturned around 10 p.m. Sunday.
Troopers said Windham overturned after she ran off the road and hit a ditch. Windham wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on scene.Β
Β Porter Ridge High School is working on a plan to support students and staff as they grieve over Windham’s loss.Β
