CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a woman died after being assaulted by a bladed weapon shortly after 4:10 a.m on August 23rd.
Investigators say they found the woman with life-threatening injuries on Tyrone Drive, and she was taken to a local hospital where medics say she later died.
Detectives say the woman knew her attacker, and they are not looking for any suspects at this time.
