Waking up to a much warmer start across the area. Highs will reach the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies. You’ll notice the air feels a bit muggier as well giving us the tiniest of samples of those summer feels. A few isolated showers will break into the mountains overnight. Thursday will be packing even more heat as the system that has kept it dry and pleasant moves further off the coast, Warm, moist air will make it feel even stickier Thursday as temps reach the upper 80s. A few showers are possible ahead of a cold front early Friday. Not banking on much rain with this system, but expect a cooler day overall Friday with temps reaching the upper 70s. Sunny and pleasant Saturday as highs fall back to the mid-70s. Take advantage of getting outside Saturday if you’re not a fan of the heat. Temps will climb into the upper 80s by Tuesday of next week.
