The first protest in Charlotte took place on Friday, May 29th on Beatties Ford Rd. Since then, they have centered in Uptown. Floyd’s death is another example of police brutality caught on camera and the conversation of systemic racism has been brought to the fore. Protesters are saying, “enough is enough.”
