Charlotte McDonalds’ Employee Fired For Berating Customer In Viral Video

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte McDonalds’ employee was terminated after a woman posted a video on social media of the employee berating her.

Wendi Rios posted a video from the drive-through of the McDonalds on Eastway Drive in east Charlotte.

In the video, the employee is seen yelling “Donald Trump” at the customer and asking her to spell “deportation.” Β The video has gone viral and has been shared over 5,000 times.

The owner of the McDonalds provided this statement to WCCB:

β€œThe actions of this employee are inexcusable and in no way reflect the strong values McDonald’s and my organization place on diversity, inclusion and providing a welcoming experience for our customers. This individual is no longer employed at my restaurant and we have expressed our sincerest apologies to the customer for this situation.” – George Forrest McDonald’s Owner/Operator
