CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) – The Humane Society of Charlotte kicked off a special promotion yesterday to encourage pit bull terrier and pitbull terrier mixed-breed adoptions during the month of March.
HSC’s St. Pitty’s Day O’doptions feature a 17% adoption fee discount from Monday, March 1 – Wednesday, March 17.
All adult (ages one year and older) pit bull terriers and pit bull terrier mixes qualify for the discounted promotion.
There are currently 12 dogs eligible and many have been at the Humane Society of Charlotte for more than 30 days, patiently waiting for their forever homes.

HOW TO ADOPT
Due to COVID-19, all adoptions are by appointment only. To adopt from the Humane Society of Charlotte, please complete an application located on each animal’s profile HERE or linked above. The HSC staff will schedule your appointment within 72 hours of your application being submitted. Applications will be used only to help streamline appointments and minimize exposure between members of the community. HSC will continue our practice of open adoptions and will not be instituting interviews or home-visits.
