Rock Hill Police Break Up In Home Tattoo Session During Drug Bust

ROCK HILL, SC– York County drug agents arrested an alleged marijuana dealer at his home Wednesday evening.

Police say the bust started when they were tipped off by the U.S. Postal Inspectors Office that Rafael Renta, 19, of Cedar Grove Lane was receiving a package with two pounds of marijuana inside.

Renta was pulled over by police near his home Wednesday, police then searched his residence where the found nearly $8,000 worth of marijuana, hash oil being cooked, scales, 175 grams of marijuana and .380 semi-automatic pistol.

Officers say James Arnette Stafford, 20, was tattooing a 16-year-old’s arm when they first entered the residence.

Police arrested Rafael Renta and his roommate Stafford along with two others, Charles Reuben Mobley, 18 and Kayla Cheyenne Thompson, 18.

Renta and Stafford were charged with, distribution and possession of marijuana, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of stolen pistol and manufacturing drugs in proximity of a school.

Mobley and Thompson also received drug charges.
