LINCOLNTON, NC– A Statesville man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on child sex offense charges.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s say they arrested Erik Paul Collins, 42, at his home at 110 Bancroft Lane in Statesville.
Sheriff’s charged him with, indecent liberties with a child and disseminating obscenity to minors under the age of 13.
Collins, is accused of sending inappropriate messages and photos to an 11 year old female, who’s family is acquaintances with the suspect.
All of the incidents were said to have occurred in the month of August, Collins is currently being held at Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $125,000 bond.
