CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Taylor Swift’s massive year was solidified with Spotify announcing her as the most streamed artist in 2023.
Recently, the music platform released its highly anticipated Spotify Wrapped. The data showed that the global superstar totaled more than 26.1 billion streams on Spotify.
Vegas Gems conducted data analysis to calculate Swift’s earnings in 2023.
With artists making approximately $0.0035 per stream on Spotify, Vegas Gems found that Swift earned an estimated $91,350,000 just from this platform.
“Taylor Swift has clearly had one of the most successful years for any music artist to date,” a Vegas Gems spokesperson said. “It is fascinating to analyze her Spotify revenue as the most streamed global artist of 2023 and look into her other ventures as part of the Taylor Swift brand.”
Swift achieved staggering numbers on her “The Eras Tour,” which became the highest-grossing tour by a woman in history.
The 33-year-old singer also found incredible success with her “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” musical and with her holiday merchandise, which sold out within minutes.
The worldwide tour continues in 2024 with Swift heading to countries in Latin America, Asia, Australia and Europe.
