CMPD Investigating An Armed Robbery In NW Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is investigating an overnight robbery in northwest Charlotte.

Police say the call came in around 3:30am Tuesday after a man said he was cut during a robbery on Rozzelles Ferry Road at Oregon Street. According to a report the victim then tried to escape in his car but was shot at by the suspects. He then crashed his vehicle nearby as a result.

Investigators are still investigating and working to determine suspects.
