Police: Daycare Worker Makes Child Urinate In Cup
ROCK HILL, SC — Police are investigating a care of a daycare worker accused of making an eight-year-old student urinate in a cup.
“This is a serious matter,” said Wendesha Crockett.
Crockett sends her son to New Beginnings Child Care where police say the employee confessed to cooking up the plan help her son pass a drug test.
Monday, investigators say a mother called saying her son told her he had to urinate in a cup at daycare. The child didn’t know why. The mother told police an employee admitted that her son needed the urine to pass a drug test. That’s because her son just got out of jail and needed a job.
“That person right there needs to be fired, ” said Angela Thomas.
Police would not reveal the name of the son that was just released from jail.
The daycare director declined to comment.
Parents say the daycare director should have sent home a letter notifying parents when she found out about the accusations on Monday.
“I feel like the parents should have a conference on what’s really going on because it’s really affecting us because them are kids, and they are in their care,” said Crockett.
