One Suspect Arrested In South Charlotte Jewelry Store Robbery Case, Another Still Wanted
UPDATE: CMPD says they have arrested and charged Valentino Darosa, 24, for his involvement in the October 22nd armed robbery of a jewelry store in south Charlotte.
Officials say Darosa was arrested Friday and has been charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, 2nd degree Kidnapping, Conspiracy to Commit 2nd degree Kidnapping and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
This investigation is still ongoing.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD is asking for assistance identifying the suspects accused of robbing Pavels Jewelers on Woodlawn Road.
Reports say on Saturday October 22nd two men entered Pavels Jeweler located at 345 E. Woodlawn Road, and demanded property at gunpoint. One shot was fired during the robbery but no one was injured.
The first suspect is described as a black male, between 6’2” and 6’5”, medium build, with a light skin complexion, short twist-style haircut, thin mustache and a goatee. He was wearing a red zip-up jacket with a logo on the left chest, a black and white horizontal striped polo shirt, straight brimmed hat and khaki pants. The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap and possibly a wig with long curly black hair, white sunglasses, a dark colored “Ft. Lauderdale” hoodie, light colored jeans and tan boots.
