Wednesday will be another mild day with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds will gradually increase throughout the day with showers and thunderstorms likely during the afternoon. Any storm that develops will have the potential to produce strong winds, heavy rain, hail, and frequent lightning. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. There may be a brief break from the storms Wednesday evening before another line of storms moves through during the overnight, with more strong to severe storms possible. The storms will move east of the area before sunrise Thursday with cooler and windy conditions returning Thursday and Friday. High temperatures will be noticeably cooler, only reaching the upper 50s and low 60s. Mountain areas will see scattered snow showers with minor accumulations possible. Sunshine and gradually warming temperatures will return over the weekend.
