NWS Confirms EF1 Tornado Left 7.7 Mile Path Of Destruction In Union County | PHOTOS

The National Weather Service has confirmed a EF1 tornado left a 7.7 mile long path of destruction southwest of Monroe in Union County.  The tornado reportedly touched down at 4:20pm.  The maximum wind speeds were 100mph and the maximum path width is 50 yards.  No injuries or fatalities were reported.
