Tuesday and Wednesday will remain cool with highs only reaching the mid to upper 70s under a good deal of clouds. A few isolated showers can’t be ruled out, but most areas will remain dry. No widespread heavy rain is expected. Slightly milder temperatures and a better chance for scattered showers returns Thursday and Friday, highs in the low to mid 80s.

*Tropical Storm Harvey continues to impact Texas, this storm will gradually shift north over the next few days. This storm may enhance our rain chances late in the week.*

*Tropical disturbance off of the southeast coast will continue to remain unorganized and have little impact on the Charlotte area. Whether the storm becomes named or not, heavy rain/rough surf/gusty winds will be felt along the Carolina coast over the next 24 hours. Heavy rain will be the biggest impact. This storm will move away from the area Tuesday and Tuesday night.*
