CMPD investigating homicide in south Charlotte

CMPD is investigating another homicide with the latest one in south Charlotte on Friday morning.

It happened around 8 a.m. at an apartment complex on Cherrycrest Lane. That’s where police say a man was shot. He died at the scene.

While CMPD did not say if an arrest has been made, they say it’s unclear what led up to that shooting.
