Carolina Panthers release 2025 schedule, features first Primetime game since 2023

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers announced its full schedule for the 2025 season which features a Primetime game for the first time since 2023.

Carolina does not have an international game on its slate after playing in Germany last year but will play eight games at Bank of America Stadium and nine on the road.

The Panthers open the season on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sept. 7. The home opener will be on Sept. 21 against the division rival Atlanta Falcons.

After being shutout last season, Carolina will play in Primetime in Week 12 on Nov. 24 on the road against the San Francisco 49ers. This will be Christian McCaffrey’s first game against his former team. This is Carolina’s first Primetime game since playing the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football on Nov. 9, 2023.

Other notable games include a Week 4 matchup against New England and Charlotte-native quarterback Drake Maye, a trip to Lambeau Field in early November, and home games against Dallas, Buffalo, and LA Rams.

Carolina has the latest bye week possible in Week 14. Three of Carolina’s final four games will be against divisional opponents.

Compared to recent years, Carolina will have a relatively easy slate. The Panthers are tied for the fifth-easiest schedule in 2025 with opponents having a winning percentage of .457. Carolina will play just five games – including two matchups with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – against 2024 playoff teams.
