CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Kellogg Company announced they will be closing their east Charlotte snack plant.Β
The company says the closure is part of the company’s Project K four-year efficiency and effectiveness program.Β Project K will unlock cost savings that Kellogg will invest in its strategy and grow its business.Β
The company will also eliminate two lines at their Cincinnati, Ohio snack plant.Β The Charlotte plant is expected to close by the end of 2014.
