Bill Cosby Allowed To Go Home Until Sentencing

Disgraced star Bill Cosby is found guilty of sexual assault, but allowed to go home instead of jail.
Cosby is out on a $1 million bond and under house arrest while he waits to be sentenced.

A jury found Cosby guilty on three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault on Thursday.
The case against him centered around Andrea Constand.
Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her at his home in 2004.
Constand is one of dozens of women who have leveled similar accusations against the comedian.
Lili Bernard is another accuser who was in the courtroom when the verdict came down.
She called it a victory.

“This jury has shown what the #MeToo movement is saying that women are worthy of being believed,” Bernard said. “This is a victory not just for Andrea Constand, whom I consider to be the Joan of Arc in the war on rape. It is not just a victory for the Commonwealth. It is not just a victory for the 62 of us publicly known Cosby survivors, whom Gloria Allred has helped give a voice. It is also a victory for womanhood, and it is a victory for all sexual assault survivors, female and male.”

The judge ordered Cosby to stay in his Pennsylvania home.
He has surrendered his passport and will wear a GPS tracking monitor.

Cosby could get up to 10 years in prison for each count.
If he serves any jail time, legal experts say the sentences are likely to run concurrently.
