BELMONT, NC- Investigators with BPD report Rodney Samuel entered the State Employees Credit Union on Wilkinson Blvd. at approximately 12:30 p.m., Thursday,Β demanded money from a teller, and fled the scene after obtaining cash.
Belmont Police detectives identified Samuel as the suspect and took him into custody.
Samuel has been charged with Common Law Robbery and Communicating Threats. and was transported to the Gaston County Detention Center.
