Hot finish to the week with drought and fire concerns

A fall in temperatures by Sunday

Friday keeps the heat wave going strong, with sunshine and highs pushing near 90. But with that dry air sticking around, there’s a growing concern for fire danger across the area. Low humidity, warm temps, and even a light breeze can make it easier for fires to start and spread quickly.

Friday evening plans stay dry with lows in the mid 60s.

Saturday turns it up another notch. Expect highs around 92 with lots of sun. It’s great weather for being out and about, but not exactly ideal for anything too strenuous outside.

The pattern shifts on Sunday as a cold front slides in. There’s about a 30% shot at a few showers before early afternoon, and temperatures back off quite a bit, topping out in the mid-70s. Then Sunday night, things cool off in a big way, dropping into the mid-40s.

Next week a cool down arrives early in the week, with potential of a good rainfall next weekend!

ENJOY!
