Lancaster Co. Animal Shelter searching for person who dropped off puppies in cold rain

LANCASTER CO., S.C. – The Lancaster County Animal Shelter needs help identifying a person seen abandoning four puppies outside the shelter.

They say it happened around 2:00 Saturday morning in the cold and rain. While they’re grateful the puppies were not left in a more dangerous situation, they say abandoning animals in those conditions is extremely concerning.

Anyone who recognizes the person seen dropping them off is asked to reach out to the animal shelter.
