Over A Dozen Patients Transported After Accident On Independence Boulevard

CHARLOTTE, NC — Medic says more than a dozen patients were transported after an accident Wednesday evening in east Charlotte.

The accident happened shortly before 7pm on Independence Boulevard inbound near I-277. Medic says 15 people total were transported with non-life threatening injuries.

One person reportedly was taken with serious injuries.
