CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 21-year-old man was shot multiple times in South Charlotte late Monday night.
Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were called around 11 p.m. to the 7100 block of South Boulevard where they located Juforest Ishaih Hicks suffering with gunshot wounds. Medic then transported him to the hospital where he later died.
Hicks’ family has been notified of his death.
During the investigation process, police learned that Hicks was shot in the 1400 block of Axminster Court and then taken to a QuikTrip on South Boulevard where 911 was called.
No arrests have been made at this time.
