CHARLOTTE, NC– Authorities arrest man for carrying hand gun on city property after previous warnings.
On Monday, January 7 authorities say DJ Geer was seen on the property of Police Headquarters in possession of a firearm which was in a holster on his waistband.
Geer was ultimately told to leave the property and was not arrested.
Tuesday, detectives with CMPD’s Targeted Response and Apprehension Unit encountered Geer on the property of Police Headquarters on East Trade Street.
Geer had returned and was in possession of a firearm which was in a holster on his waistband.
DJ Geer was arrested for violation of City Ordinance, which prohibits the possession of a dangerous weapon on any property owned by the city.
