Another Taste of Fall Coming, Watching Sally

Tropical Storm Sally continues to swirl out in the Gulf of Mexico, but could bring us some rain by next weekend.

The increased sunshine this Sunday has allowed temperatures to recover a bit into the mid-80s, but expect big changes to come soon. An expansive cold front will sweep through the Carolinas by late Monday evening, bringing clouds and rain to our area to start out the workweek. While it won’t bring a whole lot in terms of rainfall, it will bring much cooler and drier conditions for our Tuesday. Tuesday should see mainly sunny skies and highs in the 60s and 70s across the WCCB Charlotte viewing area. Enjoy the taste of fall while it lasts, because the remnants of now-Tropical Storm Sally will bring humidity and rain chances back to the forecast by the second half of the week.
