LOCUST, N.C. — Police arrested a man for sexually assaulting a child in Stanly County. Β Investigators say Darrin Riggsbee raped a child under the age of 13-years-old. Β
Riggsbee has been charged with two counts of first degree statutory rape of a child under 13, two counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of first degree sex offense with a child. Β
He is currently in the Stanly County Detention facility with a $200,000 bond. Β His first court date has been set for June 30th.
