Gov. Henry McMaster Provides COVID-19 Update For South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Governor Henry McMaster and health officials provide a coronavirus update for South Carolina on December 9th.

McMaster started by saying how he is disappointed for the more than 5,000 students and working low-income families who will not receive financial aid from the CARES Act.

McMaster says COVID hospitalizations and cases are rising in the state, and it’s time to double our efforts to stop this virus from spreading.

McMaster and health officials then laid out their plan for future coronavirus vaccinations in South Carolina.
